CELEBRATION OF BIRTHDAY |

Sesomites celebrate birthday in a unique way.
Instead of wasting money by distributing
chocolates, they contribute to a birthday fund.
Once in a year they utilize the fund for
distributing educational aids and sports
equipments to the schools in backward areas of
the town. |

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES |
| |
Although excellence in academics is the
cornerstone of child development at SESOMU, due
importance is attached to an all-round
emancipation through various co-curricular
activities. Activities such as debate, quiz,
declamation, mono acting, music, dance,
dramatics etc. form part of the school
curriculum. Environmental awareness, love for
nature and concern for fellow human beings is
taught to students by participation in various
hand-on projects. These events help qualities of
reasoning, leadership, compassion and creativity
to flourish in young mind. |

students abreast with different activities
related to health awareness. On every Saturday,
a student delivers a short speech on a
particular topic related to health in the
morning assembly. Apart from this, renowned
medical practitioners are invited to make the
students aware of good healthy practices.
Write-ups related to health awareness are also
put up on the Health Club Notice Board on a
regular basis. |

SESOMU ECO-CLUB |

The
school has also set up an Eco-Club in order to
make the students aware of different aspects of
our environment and ecology. The fundamental
purpose of the Eco-Club is to conserve the local
environment while raising awareness in the
community and promote ecological education. The
Eco-Club routinely takes field trips to help the
students learn about the local culture and help
them become aware of the environment. The main
objective of this club is to make the students
aware of the gradually degrading condition of the
environment. The club also organizes regular
plantation programs in the town. |
