As such, every child is encouraged to discover and develop his own creativity through a set of well-planned academic and co-curricular activities.

Traditional and age old practices like meditation, yoga and pranayam form a part of regular morning assembly, which help the child develop the mental and physical capabilities to the utmost level. Great emphasis is placed on building a strong moral character, excellence in academics and a disciplined approach to solving problems of life. It forms the core of SESOMU's philosophy to help achieve the broader objective of transforming a child to become right thinker, focused and a disciplined citizen of tomorrow with a deep abiding faith in the rich Indian cultural values and heritage.

With planned English medium college and equipping its students with a global outlook, SESOMU aims at helping them seek higher education in India as well as overseas.

The tiny tots of Kindergarten enhance their knowledge while playing. This eliminates the sense of compulsion from learning. The buds blossom here in  guidance of qualified staff.

Abiding by the guidelines of CBSE the school has adopted the "Grading System" and "Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation" in examination. This system of examining the students gradually leads to a healthy way of competition within the self. There may be more than one student in a certain range of the percentage and all holding the same rank. As the SESOMU doesn't differentiate between the students in the same grade, all the A1 achievers are, therefore, declared as toppers and, hence, awarded equally.

In order to removing the monotony of sitting in the same classroom throughout the day and making the learning process enjoyable, the traditional class room system has been replaced by the labs for each subject. Method of learning is being transformed very fast from instructive approach to a constructive one, where teaching becomes lively with the help of models, charts and other teaching aids. Instead of teachers, the students move from one lab to another after a period of a particular subject.

The school runs preparatory classes for the slow learners and the weaker students, thus lessening the burden of the parents to arrange home tutorials.

To prepare the children for entrance test of C.A. sufficient coaching is provided throughout the year. The coaching classes are continued for another five weeks even after the 12th class Board exams are over. Every year around 90% of the students who attempt for CPT, clear it in their first attempt itself.

Highly qualified and trained staff are recruited from amongst applicants responding to the advertisements in the national dailies and are accommodated in the staff quarters on the school compound. The pay structure excels most other residential schools.

A team of dedicated administrative staff also works round the corner to ensure a comfortable stay of  the students, teachers and all others inside the campus.

As a part of our sincere approach towards inclusive education, SESOMU considers it as its noble duty to delve deep into the problems of a child, find out root causes of the problems and help the young children grow up as better citizens. Thus to enhance the teacher's skills and know-how, Teachers' Orientation Programmes are organized in the school hiring highly experienced resource persons dealing with learning Disability, Dyslexia and Behavioral traits. In-order to enhance the teachers' skills time to time subject oriented workshops are also organized by the school.
